Mira Blackwell
Mira leads a complicated life that virtually no one knows about. She met Arya and Kio in high school, and hung out with them even after she'd graduated for reasons unknown. On the surface, she appears to be simply a girl who likes to sit around in bars and pick up guys. In reality, she's an orphan who managed to raise herself since she was twelve after her parents died in a mysterious accident. Despite her flirtatious attitude, no one can remember the last time she's had a boyfriend. She's a genius when it comes to everything and anything mechanical and passed up several scholarships to universities in favor of a less strenuous lifestyle. Rumor has it that something went on between her and Jack several years ago, but neither of them ever mention it.

Jack Grisholm
Jack appears to be the "man's man" of the group. He's straightforward, proud, faithful, and not too good with expressing his emotions, though he tends to be cynical at times. He pretends to resent being the group's proverbial "monkey boy", but really doesn't mind it all that much (especially if Mira's the one bossing him around). He depressed with the state his life's in, considering himself more of a failure than anything else. Soon after he graduated he found himself holding a dead-end job at an old bar just to scrounge up enough to pay rent on his apartment. Mira knows him better than almost anyone but everyone knows there is some unresolved issue between them. He has a phoenix tattoo on his right shoulder (er...upper arm) that appears and disappears randomly.

Arya Hellenah
Arya is a girl who often goes to Canada to get drunk (not aware that the drinking age is now 19) and enjoys eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping some more.  Her parents died and cut her out of their will for reasons that can’t yet be disclosed and she lives with her brother in his giant estate.  She runs the household, but is quite greedy to have her brother’s money under her name, and spent most of her teenage years trying to do so.  But her brother donated a bunch of money to Harvard and got her in, so she doesn’t really care any more.  Hey, it’s money, and who really cares who’s it is.  Arya’s past before age 13 is a mystery as there are no medical or academic records, or really any trace of her to be found anywhere.

Kio Sasaki

Japanese-born, American-raised Kio is a hyper little otaku who enjoys hours of mindless videogame playing among other things, Kio aspires to work at SquareEnix sometime in the distant future. Always cheerful (and very naive), she currently works as a spokesperson for the giant beer company Spudweiser and its partner, the makers of C-z-Ums. Her many loves are Pocky, Final Fantasy, udon noodles, and Ramen. Though Kio supposedly came from a considerably wealthy family, no one has ever heard her mention her relatives. 

Asheron Hellenah

Asheron is Arya’s twin and was born um…7 minutes before Arya.  He is rarely seen without his handy-dandy headphones that are presumed to be attached to an MP3 player although that can’t be confirmed as he is weird.  Like really weird.  He’s loaded (a trust fund kid because his parents apparently left him all of their considerable fortune) and he wants to be a bum.  And there’s the twincest thing going on between him and Arya…

Sorynn'uhr

Sorynn is the daughter of a high-ranking noble in the Uhr tribe. Sometimes unpredictable, she tends to be open-hearted and carefree. As a member of the nobility, she's probably in training to become a sorceress, like her mother. Her brother is Traum'uhr, and the two have a close, playful relationship, though it lacks the intensity of Arya and Asheron's.
